Case study

One test edit, then the pipeline.

In April 2025 a Paris production company sent us one test project: rushes at 6pm from Paris, a cut underway the next day before noon. They sent a second project the same week. This is what the pipeline looks like a year later.

The numbers

5 to 15 deliverables a month: commercials, music videos, social cutdown packs. Comments sent in the Paris morning are handled the same day. Every master ships with its editable timeline; every cut lands versioned and watermarked on Frame.io.

Their producers close their day with a brief. Our editors open theirs with the rushes. They keep the client and the credit. We keep the deadline.

Why it holds

One point of contact in their language, French, from first message to delivery. Selects argued in writing, structure before style, and a grade held consistent across every format of every campaign. The work is on this site: Honda, New Yorker, TRESemmé, 7UP, Grab, MAGGI.

And a rule that protects them as much as us: never more than two simultaneous projects per editor.

The door they walked through

The 72h Test Edit, one real project at 60 percent of our normal rate, editable timeline included, no commitment past it. It exists because a first cut is the only argument that matters in this trade.
